Description
The painting "Tutti Frutti" belongs to the "FLAVOR" series, which comprises a total of seven motifs. In this series, taste is used as a creative design element. Animal and fruit elements are combined or merge into new pictorial worlds that show different ideas of pleasure and perception.
The work shows two chameleons hiding among the fruits. Through their special ability to adapt their color to their surroundings, they visually merge with the diverse color world of the painting. The boundaries between animal and environment dissolve, creating a playful interplay of nature, color, and form.
The painting can also be understood as a symbol for our world: humans are not separate from their environment, but rather a part of the larger whole to which they are connected.
