Pet Portraits & Wildlife

I create custom pet portraits from photo references as well as wildlife paintings as original artworks on canvas.

For personal pet portraits, your own animal will be painted based on a suitable photo reference. For wildlife, you can choose from various animal motifs or submit your own ideas and references.

To create the artwork, I need a meaningful photo reference, which you can send to me via email. Further details on the process and available formats can be found below.


Standard Formats

The following pricing structure applies to selected formats:

Square

  • 20 × 20 cm – from 240 €
  • 30 × 30 cm – from 360 €

Rectangular

  • 20 × 30 cm – from 300 €
  • 30 × 40 cm – from 420 €


Included in the Price

  • Custom pet portrait or wildlife motif based on photo reference
  • Execution on canvas
  • Monochromatic background
  • Hanging system (sawtooth hanger)


Framing

A frame is not included in the price. Framing is possible at an additional cost:

  • 20 × 20 cm or 20 × 30 cm – 20 €
  • 30 × 30 cm or 30 × 40 cm – 30 €

Custom formats, motifs, and design requests are also possible by arrangement.

What should I do?

Please email me a photo template of your pet and include any information you can think of regarding the photo, the animal, or the recipient. I will then contact you by email or phone to discuss the motif, size, color, and other important details.

Are the pictures framed as well?

Framing of the pictures is possible upon request for an additional charge.

Are other formats and motifs also possible?

Certainly! Formats up to 200 cm are possible. However, please note that I specialize in painting animal motifs. Prices for special formats are calculated individually upon request.

When will the picture be ready?

Depending on the order, the amount of work will be estimated and communicated to you.

What are the prices for a picture with a background or with multiple animals?

The price depends on the level of detail and effort involved in the image, for example, with multiple animals, elaborate backgrounds, or additional objects, and will be calculated individually upon request.

How does payment work?

Payment for commissioned work is typically made in two installments:

1. Down Payment: A down payment of 50% of the total amount is required before work begins. This serves as a reservation fee. The client may request a refund of the down payment within two weeks of receiving the artist's written order confirmation (via email), provided that the artist has not yet begun work and the client cancels the order. After this period, a refund is not possible, as the down payment serves as compensation for the reserved work time, materials already used, and work already performed.

2. Remaining Payment: The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the artwork.

For large commissions or by prior arrangement, payment may be divided into three to four installments.

The artwork will only be handed over or shipped to the client after full payment has been received.

What if I don't like the picture?

Please note that the representation of the artwork on digital screens may differ from reality.

If you are not satisfied with the artwork upon receipt, you may request a 30% refund within 14 days. This requires the undamaged return of the original within this period.

After inspection of the artwork, the refund will be processed within 14 days. Further details can be found in the "Right of Withdrawal" section.
