Description
The Butterfly Series consists of 20 canvases of the same size, created over several weeks. It showcases native and exotic butterfly species, highlighting the beauty of diversity, differences, and uniqueness.
The interplay of the individual pictures is particularly captivating: together, the 20 canvases form an expressive overall image, while each work unfolds its own effect.
Each butterfly is named after a dessert or drink whose colors match it. This playful idea lends an additional positive aura to the pictures.
By removing individual butterfly pictures from the wall and dissolving their fixed arrangement, it becomes clear that order and perfection are often less self-evident and that individuality holds great significance.
